Nomadix Towels and Picnic Blankets
Travel towel, blanket, and gear company Nomadix has a slogan we just love: “Own less. Do More.” This Climate Neutral Certified, 1% for the Planet member makes all of its textiles from recycled plastic. It diverted nearly 17,000,000 plastic water bottles from landfills in 2022 alone. We're big fans of their quick-drying The Original Towel, which measures 72.5” x 30” (on the long and skinny end of the beach towel sizing spectrum) and weighs just a pound. Another favorite, The Bandana Towel, makes an excellent and affordable present for any particularly sweaty friends. The Festival Blanket, a water-resistant-backed, micro-suede-topped picnic blanket, measures 60” x 72”, resists dirt and pet hair, and has thoughtful anchoring corners, making it easy to stake to the ground.
